Einleitung

P.T. Silent Hills ist ein First-Person Horror-Adventure-Spiel, das von Kojima Productions entwickelt und von Konami am 12. August 2014 für die PlayStation 4 veröffentlicht wurde. Das Let's Play von Pandorya zu dem Spiel begann am 11. September 2014 und endete am 15. September.

P.T. Silent Hills war als Playable Teaser (P.T.) für das Spiel Silent Hills geplant. Die Entwicklung des Spiels wurde allerdings gestoppt und P.T. Silent Hills wurde aus dem Playstation Store entfernt, so dass es seit dem 29. April 2015 nicht mehr gekauft bzw. gespielt werden kann.

Das Spiel

P.T. ist ein eigenes kurzes Horror-Spiel, in dem der Spieler in einer Endlos-Schleife durch den Flur eines Hauses streift und bei jedem Durchgang ein anderes kleines Detail oder eine Veränderung entdeckt. So entblättert er ein grauenhaftes Familiendrama, das sich in dem Haus zugetragen hat. Durch seine bedrückende Atmosphäre und innovative Erzählform wurde "P.T." von Kritikern als auch Spiele-Entwicklern einhellig gelobt und in einer Analyse mit Stanley Kubricks Film "The Shining" verglichen.

Trivia

• Eventuell könnte das Projekt zu Silent Hills wieder aufgegriffen werden. Der Entwickler bzw. Regisseur Guillermo del Toro sagte in einem Interview, dass das Konzept des Spiels ausgearbeitet sei und er das Projekt gerne wieder aufnehmen würde. Allerdings bleibt eine Fortsetzung des Projekts in näherer Zeit trotzdem unwahrscheinlich.
